Madurai- 

Madurai or Madurai is a city located in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu state of India and is also the headquarters of that district. It is one of the oldest inhabited cities of the Indian peninsula. This city is known for its ancient temples. This city is called by many other names like Koodal Maanagar, Tunganagar, Malligai Maanagar was the Athens of the East. It is situated on the banks of river Vaigai. This place, approximately 2500 years old, is an important cultural and commercial center of the state of Tamil Nadu. The main attraction here is the Meenakshi temple whose tall gopuram and rare sculptures attract devotees and tourists. For this reason it is also called the city of temples. Madurai was once the main center of Tamil education and pure Tamil is still spoken here. The education system here is excellent. This city is the commercial, industrial and religious center of the district. The industries include spinning, dyeing, muslin weaving, wood carving and brass working. The population here is 11 lakh 8 thousand 755. Rameswaram- 

Rameshwaram, also known as "Iromeswaram" in Tamil, is a pilgrimage town in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu, India, one of the holiest Char Dham pilgrimage sites in Hinduism. It is located on Rameshwaram Island, separated from mainland India by the Pamban Strait and 40 km from Mannar Island of Sri Lanka. Geographically it is situated on the Gulf of Mannar. Rail from Chennai and Madurai connects it to the mainland via the Pamban Bridge. Rameshwaram plays a big role in the events of Ramayana. Here Shri Ram had built Ram Setu from India to Lanka, so that he could attack Ravana to help Sita. Here Shri Ram worshiped Shiva and the Shiva temple standing in the center of Nar today is related to the same incident. Both the city and the temple are centers of reverence for Shiva and Vishnu devotees.

   Kanyakumari         -                                       

Kanyakumari is a city located in Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu state of India. It is the southernmost city of mainland India. From here there is the Indian Ocean in the south, the Bay of Bengal in the east and the Arabian Sea in the west. The coast adjacent to them extends for 71.5 km. Along the sea stand the Thiruvalluvar statue and the Vivekananda memorial stone. Kanyakumari is also an important Hindu pilgrimage site

Thiruvananthapuram or Trivandrum is the largest city and capital of the Indian state of Kerala. It is also the headquarters of Thiruvananthapuram district. Apart from the politics of Kerala, this is also the center of the educational system. Among the many educational institutions, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology are some of the famous names. Situated on the far south-western coast of mainland India, this city was called the "Ever Green City of India" by Mahatma Gandhi.
